Analysis and Planning
Analysis linked to strategic management and development proposals are important planning and advocacy tools. In recent years, the Consultancy has successfully developed plans for museums, libraries and the arts throughout Ireland.
Collections Assessment
As a specialist consultancy within the cultural field, Aidan Walsh Consultancy offers both specialist knowledge and a strategic perspective when assessing collections or proposals for development.
Evaluation and Review
Project evaluation and project review are often key requisites of funding bodies. Review can also form an integral part of strategic planning. Projects have been delivered in Ireland and Scotland.
Advocacy
The Consultancy has advised and assisted with the preparation of proposals that advocate and articulate a client’s role or potential. Presentation of proposals to decision makers (executive boards, local authorities and trusts) has been a key feature.
Feasibility Study
These studies examine management and financial implications and address key strategic issues. The Consultancy has undertaken a number of analyses on the feasibility of establishing new facilities and services.
Facilitation
This is now an established work area for the Consultancy. Facilitation has been undertaken with both officers and staff within organisations and also with the general public.
Project Development
The Consultancy manages publication and exhibition projects on behalf of clients, ensuring that work is delivered to an agreed timeframe, within budget. As a specialist consultancy working within the cultural field, we can also contribute ideas to concept development and scoping.
