IMA annual conference

Kilmurry Museum, County Cork

Aidan Walsh is currently completing a Feasibility Study and Development Plan for Kilmurry Historical & Archaeological Society. The study will research and propose ideas for a new museum and community facility in Kilmurry. The work is supported by grant from West Cork Development Partnership.

Pearse Museum, Dublin

Recently completed - a Heritage Council commission to assess the Pearse Museum, under the Irish museum accreditation programme.

Michael Davitt Museum, Mayo

Recently completed - Aidan Walsh has provided assistance and advice to the Michael Davitt Museum, Straide, County Mayo on the development of their Strategic Management Plan.

Appointments

Aidan Walsh has been re-appointed by the Heritage Council as an assessor for the Museums Standards Programme for Ireland. He has also been re-appointed to the MSPI Training Panel and to the Council's new MSPI Participant Advisor Panel.
